What’s new with the CHET Dream Big! Competition? Find out here.

Welcome to the 2017 CHET Dream Big! Competition News Page!

The 2017 Dream Big! Competition invited students from across Connecticut to express themselves creatively and share what they will do or how they will change the world after college. We received over 2,800 wonderful drawings and essays from kindergarten thru 8th grade students across the state with 48 selected as winners of a CHET 529 college savings account contribution. All of the winners should be proud of their accomplishment and the inspiring works of all the students that entered Dream Big! are a testament to Connecticut's bright future.

Dream Big! encourages families to start thinking about how higher education can help children realize their dreams and make a difference in the world, and to promote the importance of saving for college early.
